Prince Dance Institute recently announced on its website that fall classes began on Aug. 19. The institute's diverse range of performance art classes will include contemporary dancing, musical theater, tap dancing, acting, glee, breakdance, hip-hop dancing, ballet, aerial silks and trapeze, a provided announcement said.

“I love to dance. It always makes me feel better and more like myself. My commitment to dance helps me stay healthy and connected to the highest version of myself,” a student is quoted as saying in the announcement. A parent said, “I cannot believe how far my daughter has come in such a short time. Prince Dance transformed her from a shy, insecure girl to a lead in the show. She truly has bloomed, and our family is forever grateful.”

The classes run for 16 weeks, and the Prince Dance Institute teaches youth using three main objectives: to boost the confidence of their students; to nurture talent; and to foster community.

Adult classes for parents of students are also offered as part of the Prince Dance Institute’s adult performing arts programs.

Prince Dance Institute was founded in 2004 by Angel Prince. "The school provides a space for community members to discover the magic of the performing arts,” its website says.

Spots for the classes are limited, and the first one is free, the announcement said. For information, visit Prince Dance Institute’s website at https://princedanceinstitute.com.
